Profile

I currently work as the Senior Counselling Coordinator at CALMS. I have 13 years experience of working with clients of all ages and genders presenting with a range of issues, such as self esteem, stress and anxiety, panic attacks, grief and loss, low mood, relationship issues, abuse, anger issues, physiological trauma and clients presenting with trauma related to the Troubles.

I provide counselling sessions from an Integrative approach, which means I integrate my approach to suit the individual needs of each client.

I also facilitate meditation, resilience building (CRM), stress reduction and anxiety programmes.

My qualifications include:

  • BACP Accredited
  • Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling
  • Solution Focused Therapy
  • Play Therapy (Children Matter) Cert
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level 1 Graduate: (Training in Affect Dysregulation, Survival Defences and Traumatic Memory)
  • TRM® Level 1 (Trauma Resilience Model)
    CRM Certified Facilitator (Community Resilience Model)
    Clinical Supervisor.

I enjoy socialising with family and friends, going to varies shows in the local theatre comedy shows mostly, and relaxing with a good Netflix series.
